window tinting in alberta?

whats the legal limit for window tinting..i think my car looks funny without the windows tinted..and another question anyone have any reccomendations for decals...? I want something dunno what or should i just tint the windows and leave it at that...

I live in Edmonton. Last I've heard on the subject was that if the officer can't see your eyes, it's illegal. I guess that means that you can tint the back windows as dark as you want, but the front side windows can only have a light tint. Somewhere around 10-15% I guess...

If you cannot read your drivers license through it, its too dark. Rear windows could be spray painted black if you wanted to...

i think cavaliers look odd as hell with out the windows tinted as for me i have double limo in the back nothing on front sides (stupid california but not for long) notical stars on back corner windows and www.cromeflames.com on the lower back window decals if done right can look good

Tint store will tell you and what you can get away with! It will be hard to get it to adhere properly with your weather!!! It'll be a biatch to do yourself in a coupe! The rake of the rear screen is toooooooo much!!!!!! Can't even get at the dead spider right at the edge!!! I'll wait for it to decompose I think!

yeah turns out the people who did it im my town dont do it anymore...so she gave me a # in edmonton..who do a good job..id never do it my self...lol...it would be even worse than it looks now...haha

I did it myself on my first car, although I did the rear window twice It was quite a good job, although there was some imperfections if you really looked! I just used tons of soap solution to keep it wet!

yeah my boyfriend did his old mustang..he hasn't attempted to do his new one yet.think hes gonna pay to get it done...says its hard...
