90 Accord EX Coupe

Does anyone know how to tighten the screw on the side (door) window. It is the flat black disc on the upper left hand corner of the driver side window. I can only get it finger tighten, but it vibrates loose and these things cost $20 to replace.

Glue it in with rubber contact cement. If you need to remove, laquer thinner will soften it.

Re: 90 Accord EX Coupe

The only way is to remove the window.

You can try to remove the black channel it rides in. Next to the groove there is a rubber strip that has double stick tape on it. Take the strip off and there will be screws behind it. If you take the screws out you can work that track out of the door.

I must warn you thats its not an easy job.
