Hey guys, can you help value my car... thanks!

Hey Everyone,

Can you guys tell me what my car is worth? I was told to ask for ~$19k, but I figued you guys would know the best.

2002 Black SE Supercharged 4WD: Front and Rear brush guard. Tow package. Tinted wind deflector so that my moon roof is functional. factory 6-disc indash CD Changer. Driver/Passenger window tinted to match rest of car. Fitted rubber mat throughout, including in cargo area with cargo area pull-out. Cargo Net. Always zainoed (incl. clay-bar once a season). Only runs Royal Purple full synth. Just turned 30k miles. Always garaged. No accidents. No problems. Originally sold May of '02 with sticker of almost $30k. No smoke. Car is paid for, title in hand.

Truthfully, I love this truck. I bought it a couple years ago to get me through the winters, and it has been one reliable companion. We just had a blizzard, and while while cars were scattered everywhere, I didn't get stuck even once in the deepest of drifts. I'm not 100% sure I want to sell it, but with an upcoming move to Cali in the works and another car already on the way, I need to make room, hence, my above inquiry.

Thanks,
Stephen

Thanks... the number they came up with for private party sell low ~$18k... is that a fair assessment?

KBB, or Kelly Blue Book, is a pretty well-known pricing guide. Edmunds says they're a bit more realistic than KBB, I dunno. There's also the NADA guide: www.nadaguides.com
You can also get a value for your car there, first item under "Used Cars" on the right.

Re: Hey guys, can you help value my car... thanks!

NADA has my truck at just under 20.8k... and KBB/Edmunds has me at ~18.3k... so, 18k~21k is what I came up with.

Again, I don't know what this will actually fetch on the market, but if I put it on Ebay for 18k with no reserve, you guys think that'll be realistic?

If you're selling it, you set the price. What's the minimum you would take for it? Start it there and see where it goes.
