Which engine?

I blew up my d16y8 awhile ago and was planning on buying another and have it built for racing. I think ive decided to just swap in a b-series or maybe an h22 and turbo it! My question is which engine to go with! If i buy a obd 1 engine what do i need to make it obd 2?

Re: Which engine?

If you're going for full blown out engine racing i would say go for a b18c gsr engine. If you want a drag engine i would say h22.

Re: Which engine?

I've heard that the H22 cylinder walls are to thin to except too much boost! Good luck!

Re: Which engine?

The ringlands tend to go on H22 under boost. Don't know how much it actually takes, but that seems to be the most common problem with turboed H22s.
