turbo acting up
my gsx is acting up. iv'e had the car for about a month now and it isnt running quite the same like when i shift and accelerate the turbo's boost goes way up and the car takes awhile to get going it's like the turbo is lagging. Is this a sign of my turbo going out or could it possibly be something else.by the way its the stock turbo and the car has 95,000 miles on it and everythings stock cept intake and catback exhaust.

Re: turbo acting up
You have boost leaks. If you had an aftermarket boost gauge, you would see that the boost is in fact not going up...

Re: turbo acting up
another thing that it does is when starting the car the idle always bounces between 500 and 1000 rpms and sometimes it even drops down almost killing the car

Re: turbo acting up
fix the boost leaks first. sometimes they can cause weird idle problems depending ion how bad they are.
