I Just Saw A Fulie!!!!!
Ok, I just felt like posting this. I just got back from Colorado Springs, and driving around there, i saw a Fuel Injected Corvette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....It was awsome, it is the second one i have ever seen. The first one was at a local car show, it was a 98 point car...This one was awsome, like a 63 or around there....that body style, hard top, silver, split rear window....I was Drooling...........

Re: I Just Saw A Fulie!!!!!
Not too fast, cat... Lots of L-88/C-47's (Muncie M21 equipped). A frat bro' in college had one. But I think only 3 - yes, 3, L-88, with the M22 "rock crusher" C-48 were assembled. I read a feature in M/T magazine in the mid-70's about the car. One of 'em had been wrecked, one was in a museum somewhere, and the third whereabouts unknown. (UNFORTUNATELY, NOT MY GARAGE
)Oops! I'm an idiot. RPO C48 was no heater. And now I'm seein' that 20 were built ('67). 3 I do remember were specially outfitted for the track, according to the article. 171mph top speed, through a 4 barrel carb.

Re: I Just Saw A Fulie!!!!!
I wasn't saying that there weren't/aren't many L88's but they're so scattered and some wrecked or otherwise undriveable that in a given location the sightings of a L88 would be a rare occasion and odds are if the car was in good enough condition for someone to buy it, the owner wouldn't be selling it. I say this and I live in the motor city and attend the woodward dream cruise yearly. In the cruise there are tons of vettes of all years but even with all the vettes I only see a handful of L88's. On a side note, I am fortunate to have an uncle that owns an L88 with a (at least he says) rock crusher 4 on the floor, it's quite a fun ride to drive and I can say this about all vettes, I love the sound of the exhaust--It's sweet bliss listening to the rumble.
