I Need Some help with my seats.

Hi, does someone knows what seats can i fit on a 92 chevy lumina 4dr the euro ??? because, i have the kind with the arm rest on the middle that is also a trash can or coin saver... anyway, the cloth is very old.. and burned by sun, so i thought of upholstering seats, but if anyone know if i can get couple seats of another car, without the thing on the middle, can somebody tell me what car fits it??? I'll appreaciate your help, and if the others sits are electric, can i make them work, you know, the electric part?

Pardon my ignorance, but i am not too good wih this yet.

Thanks in advance.

That's a good question. I'd bet anything in that model size range (Grand Prix, Cutlass Supreme, Buick Century, etc) would work, and seats are one of those thing, you can put the tracks wherever they need to be just by drilling four new holes if you have to. Power systems are self-contained in the seat itself, so that's not an issue. I've never had any trouble putting any seats in any car, even swaps from mismatched motor companies (Ford-GM, etc) It's not brain surgery. You can do it.

Re: I Need Some help with my seats.

Agree with Jeff, its not difficult. Pretty much any W-body will swap over with ease, and I'm sure a few other platforms won't be difficult. As far as the power seat option, you might run into problems, because the car needs to be wired for it (or you wire it yourself). You'll need something like a 30-50A fuse for the motor, IIRC, and you'll need to run your own wires under the carpet to the fuse panel (or your own, if you want). I know for a fact my 1990 Cutlass Supreme W-body didn't have the wiring under the carpet already. 12V battery is all it runs off of though, so you're good to go if you choose that route.
