im close to buying one...anybody have one or know someone with one....how much better than the USDM is it besides the jdm 180hp vs usdm 170 hp.....what about compression and alike...thanks

I think the reason for the 10hp increase is because of the JDM ecu and the higher octane gas they use in Japan ... someone correct me if I'm wrong ...

I believe JDM engines have higher compression ratios too.

yeah the usdm is 10.4:1 and the jdm is 10.6:1

from what i heard, the jdm gsr have different pistons and that's the only thing that makes the jdm one different from the usdm.
