pcv line

hey guys well i tried replacing my pcv valve. I had a difficult time taking it out and i broke the line or plastic hose thing that plugs into the pcv valve an i yanked it and it broke.

so then i go to auto zone to see if they had that hose and they said that they didnt (4dr 98 chevy blzr) they said i could try getting it at the dealer.

In the mean time the guy told me to get a rubber hose that was about 3/4 and it fit pretty good at both ends.

Q1. Where can i Find this plastic hose thing?
Q2. Will the rubber hose that i put on it be a problem?(its about 8 inches long, should i cut it or the lenght not a problem?)

thanks

Re: pcv line

How the hell did you break the hose?

Why did you not take your time and do it properly instead of just reefing on it?

You could just use the hose and tape it up and reinsert it.

But for christ sakes, stop ripping things aprt like this, you really need to relax and do the job properly.
