I am looking for anyone who may have experience troubleshooting a non working drivers side heated seat. I have checked the fuse and it is ok. The switch on the side of the seat lights up correctly in both low and high positions. I have the OEM repair manuals for my 1999 s-10 blazer and it indicated there is a heated seat module mounted on the bottom side of the seat. I can only locate the large seat movement module. I called a chevy dealer the they said they looked it up and there was not a heated seat module listed for a 1999 blazer. The passenger side is working great. Is there anyone who has experience in this type repair. Thanks in advance for your time. My e-mail address is [email protected]
Thanks Danny |

Re: Trouble shooting drivers side heated seat
I looked in the 1999 Service Manual and found the Heated Seats for your truck. Are there connectors going to both grids? I only see one connector C308 with 3 wires going to the Heated Seat Assembly, so I'm thinking that the Module could be the entire Heated Seat Grid Assembly all hard wired together. Does the dealer list any other seat heater componants for it? The grids could be part of the seat covers.
