Nitrous Engines

I've heard so many horror stories about nitrous destroying engines, i'm beginning to think it's a time bomb. But i've also heard the opposite from other people. Is it really unsafe, or is it just misused? Does the compression have anything to do with it? and if compression does have something to do with it, don't they sell programmers for it to shut out at certain RPM's? Much input would be appreciated.

when u hear about it destroying engines cause it is misused.....some of these people with 4 cylinders think they can just spray a 50 shot without upgrading their engines and making them stronger....then thats when they blow all the seals and totally screw the engine.....its safe when its used properly....its usually run thru the throttle body and it will shoot 25,50 etc...mixed with the fuel....when its used right its fun

Yeah I love her. But theirs a guy on here whos got an early SS, and another goy with a Grand National.

If I had to trade my car for another car(besides a truck) it would be a GNX, total sleeper. And tons of torque.

I'd like to, however still can't exactly figure out how to put pictures on here. And when I do, i have another problem, We have 6 inches of snow, and she is still sitten outside, because it needs a new starter. So when snows gone and when I get the time, i'll have it on here.
