b16 crx map question

i am swapping the head on my b16 crx with a port and polished gsr head. the t/b on the gsr head has the map sensor on it. so, can i use that map and forget about the map on the firewall? what do i have to do to get this done? basically just cut the wires going to the firewall map and connect them to the t/b map?

Re: b16 crx map question

just unplug the map sensor on the firewall and move the vac hose to it. Just forget about the map sensor on wall. Or you could just keep it how it is and plug up the vac line on the TB map sensor! Whatever you perfer

Re: b16 crx map question

well. i was throwing a code 3 and 5 from the firewall map anyways. so i'd like to go around it all together. so you are saying to unplug that map and plug in my t/b map? do i have to cut the wires and re-connect? and i still have to run the vacuum hose from the t/b to the firewall map?
