What is better and which amp is the best for that subwoofer

SPL or SQ.

SQ JL w7 by far
SPL MTX Thunder 9500

for the JL any high quality amp with decent power (1000w would do fine)

For the MTX the more real power the better. its not going to sound great anyway so why spoil it with a perfectly clean signal.

The mtx will sound like ass. I'd get the w7 it will get very loud and still sound really good. jl 1000/1 for the amp.
