engine swap for a s-10 truck

i currently have a 91 chevy s-10 blazer with a 4.3 and some mods to the engine, but the wheel fell off of it when my bro was driving it (bad balljoints that my dad didnt take care of when he owned it) but i wanna take the engine and see if i can find a s-10 pick up with a 5 speed. my question is what kind of transmission should bolt up, will one off of a 4 cylinder work or will i have to find one that had a v6? any info would be greatly appreicated.

Re: engine swap for a s-10 truck

i dont really know what info you need, but i dont have a truck, i was just wondering what my engine would fit in if i decide to do it, i want a 5 speed with an s-10 truck, the engine i have in my blazer is a 4.3 tbi it had a holly throttle body, edlebrock intake manifold, open air cleaner and its chipped. if you still need more info, let me know what you need to know and ill do my best to provide the info you need.
