Bogging

I have 71 Riviera that is bogging but only when I step on the gass all the way in. It does it a few seconds after a step on the gas hard. Under norman driving conditions it seems fine. My guess would be the fuel filter but I can't find it. I have put new plugs already. Any advise.

The fuel filter on older GM cars with carbs are located at the end of the fuel line on the carb. You will first want to remove the fuel line. You will see a larger hex head on the carb it's self.Remove that and there is a filter inside it with a spring. This is what they look like on a 4 BBL Quadrajet.
