Satellite Radio Static

My satellite radio has a built in FM Modulator and for some reason it sometimes picks up a lot of static. If I put my hand down by the satellite radio, the static stops. I have tried everything. I changed frequencies and nothing works. Can someone please help.

if I am understanding what you are trying to say, you need to move the radio receiver ...... it's too close to a device that interferes with it
