replaced distributor/rotor?

I had a similar experience and finally tracked it down to a worn out rotor and distributor. No problems since.... but it did take a while to figure out- spark, fuel, compression, blocked exhaust..... so many things to check.... and it's always the last thing you look at. Why can't we skip the middle and just go to the last thing first, I keep asking myself... Good luck!

It's ALWAYS the last thing you check.....cuz you won't keep checking after you find it.

Seriously though, Karlynn has a point - start with a thorough tune up.
