Honda S2000

I recently bought the "2 Fast 2 Furious" Pink Honda S2000. Suki's car.

Some people may not like Fast and Furious, but I just love my car. Thus, a picture is produced. I have spent a few hours on this now. And so far, I'm really happy with it. What do you all think.

Looks better in real life.

I get back from holiday in 2 days, will work on it more then.

Re: Honda S2000

Woah, you actually bought the car?

As for the drawing, it looks good, but the headlights don't quite look like s2000 headlights to me. Otherwise, good work so far.

Alex

maybe its a model kit.
im sure the real car is overpriced and the money would be better spent on building a better car.

Re: Honda S2000

Sorry alex. But of a mix up. Although I would love to, I didn't buy the real car. Maybe one day.

I should have stated clearer it's just the 1:18 Model.

Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Honda S2000

scan is too light and too low-rez to make out much for comments. i guess it's ok? so far? it looks a bit wavering on the 'toon side at this point. car seems too narrow, as if the driver and passenger seats should be 2cm apart, without a center console.

well, i'm actually full of comments: the car is too f3cking narrow. it looks like there should only be one seat in the front, with the steering wheel in the middle of the car. see what i mean? the car is about two feet wide, with gigantic twenty-eight inch wheels. like a motorcycle cartoon with a car body kit on it. the car looks about six inches wide and a mile tall. the wheels look fifty feet in diameter, the car's body looks like it is about one inch wide. the car is as thin as a sheet of paper, with wheels as tall as the eiffel tower.

your draftsmanship, lines, are not bad. so far.

Re: Honda S2000

Will try for a better scan. The eiffel tower of cars? Is that in a good way . Thanks for comments. I didn't really think of it being to narrow. Just the perspective I chose. I guess it is too narrow though. Lacks depth. Hope to fix those problems and more.

Re: Honda S2000

skribble, your stuff is good. you are a good draftsman. that is not at issue.

just make the body wider. that is all i meant.
add about the proportional equivalent of 18 inches (30 cm?) to the middle. try it with a xerox copy and make mulitple passes. you will see how you were off.
