2.3L Quad 4 - Temperature Switch

Does anyone know where the temperature switch is on a 1990 2.3L Quad 4?

My temperature light is on all the time....I have replaced the Coolant Sensor in the thermostat housing but apparently this is for the ECM........There is a separate sending unit for the idiot light.....I have searched for this sending unit and cannot locate it anywhere......Help

I have a 92' 2.3 Quad 4. There are 3-4 different temp sensors located on this engine - along with the 2 million different variations they already changed with the Quad 4's. There are 2 located near the oil sending unit, on the back of the block-somewhat hard to reach. There is one in the intake manifold (classisfied as coolant sensor) and if you found one in the thermosat housing, thats a new one to me, my thermostat is in the most ungodly place under the exhaust manifold, right where the steel inlet under the engine meets the water pump housing.....I'd count em and start replacing the others. The idiot light one should be right with the other one by the oil sending unit. good luck
