Re: Im an idiot

call a toe truck, they have slim jims, unless you know how your door lock works your not going to jimmy it yourselfe, and you would need a stiff piece or metal or plastic to stick down the window sill

Re: Im an idiot

Don't be hard on yourself, that can happen to everyone.

Do you have any car theif friends that you know won't rip you off? if so ask them to do their job with permission.

Other than that towtruck drivers, and locksmiths.

But you might want to try a google search for how to pick locks. I did yesterday (just out of couriosity) and they had 1 really good site on the first page.

Good Luck

Re: Im an idiot

side door windows are easy and cheap to replace if you have a salvageyard near you or a friend with and s10 in
backyard on blocks. just joking lol. been there man,
locksmith is cheaper route. only cost me $40, and that
was sometime after midnight when i called him. good luck.

Re: Im an idiot

Heres a tip that I read several years ago (although it won't help you now) duct tafe a key under the truck somewhere where it's easy to get, then paint the duct tape to match the area.

I'm just thinking that the back mount tire on a Blazer is probably a good place and you'd stay pretty clean getting it. (unless someone wanted to steal your tire then they might steal your truck)

Those magnetic key holders always fall off so avoid them.

Re: Im an idiot

you know, I don't know why they don't make those switches so you need the key in the ignition for them to work.
Why make anything easier for wood be theives?
I'm glad that it worked out for you though.
