Re: Toyota Hilux Double Cab Lift Up

Hey,

More lifted trucks!! lol. Love it. Can you take more pics of the surf please? I am interested in the snorkel. And is that the bull bar that came extra in the kit? What did you mount it to? Keep up the great work!

You always build quality trucks. Question? Would you happen to have the pics that go with your Silverado Lift? I can't see them at all when I look a the tutorial.

Thanks

Re: Toyota Hilux Double Cab Lift Up

Unfortunatly, the Silverado Pics wont be up anytime soon. The pics are saved on my PC, which doesnt work anymore. It crashed one night, and now nothing works. If I can find another Silverado to work on, I'll edit the tutorial with new/better pictures.

Re: Toyota Hilux Double Cab Lift Up

I'm thinking about bulding a giant diorama for all these trucks. It would have a parking lot (for all the clean trucks) and then make a mud hole a little beyond the parking lot.

(Biggest Truck Exhaust on AF?)

Here are some pictures of the Surf/4Runner
-I made the snorkel out of plastic tubing. Infact I cut it off of the tree the parts came on. It just has to be straight, then I head it up, and bent it to shape, and added a conical filter from a Revell Eclipse. For the fender hole, I used a pin vice drill bit and enlarged it with my knife.

Yes, that is the bull bar that came with the kit. I actually couldnt figure out where the thing mounted, and where it is mounted (and how its supposed to be i think) doesnt make much sense. It just attaches to the front frame to body brackets
