Hi all
okay.. took the car to the place of purschase.. they checked it out and yes you were all right it was the o2.. thank you thank you thank for your help! But now.. now when i take the key out of the ignition the Security light begins to blink. get out.. lock the door.. and it still blinks.. even the chime that happened when you open the door [lights are off and key is not in ignotion] is gone.. i know the light is supposed to flash when you open the door.. but isnt it supposed to stop once the door is closed? no chime.. constant flashing "Security" light.. anything i can check? could this have happened when they reset the cars computer? Id really appriciate your help.. The G20 is a wonderful car.. i dont want to have these gremlins! Bernard

Here's the way my 1992 works: the security light flashes when any door, the hood or trunk lid is open. As soon as they're closed, the light comes on solid and then goes out. My guess is that one of your switches; door, hood, or trunk isn't closing. I'd jumper each one of them one at a time to see if the light stops blinking. Maybe you've solved this problem already. I hope so and good luck.

It will most likely be the hood switch. The doors and i think trunk pop off that indicator light on the dash...obviously the hood does not.
If they replaced your O2 sensor they may have bumped the locking mechanism around a bit...it could be that its just not going down far enough. The Hood switch is on the pax side by the fended towards the middle. Just have someone come out and push it down all the way while you're sitting in the car and see if the light goes out.
