if i'm not mistaken i think it should mostly drop right in. you may want new mounts, computer, shift linkage, I'm not sure about axles, is the car EX?? if not you'll need the VTEC wiring harness.
Anyone else?? Becca

No unfortunantly it`s a DX...When I got it I wanted a really light car and it`s one of the lightest

Yes the motor will fit with these:
http://www.hasport.com/M92_CC.htm It will end up costing the same if you get a B16a2 ... plus it will be much easier and the motor will be newer ... I'd go with the hydraulic tranny ...

u cant retro fit an 88-91 engine into a 92-95 civic, it will be pointless because of the cable/hydraulic clutch difficulty
save up some more cash and get the EG series engine (front cut if possible) |

Doing that is not worth the time money or effort... First off you will need to get an adapter for the trannys because 1 is hydraulic and 1 is cable. you are going to have to do the basics motor mounts and all but you are going to have to get them anyways. Here is where its gets pretty... You are going to have to rewire the whole car. 88-91 is pre obd and the 92-93 is OBDI or OBDII. Not worth it. Just get the b16a2, you will end up spending less money and get that extra 10 HP.

Ok..here goes:
1) Non-OBD motor into OBDI car. It can be done, but wiring is a bitch. It's also a bit on the illegal side. 2) Cable transmission into hydro car. HASport does make a cable conversion kit. But that's just extra parts. 3) Finally, the B16A (1st gen.) had only 158hp. The B16A found in the 92-00 SiR/SiRIIs had 168hp and the B16A2s found in del Sols and 99-00 Si Civics had 160hp. Get it? Got it? Good.

Well hell....for all that rouble I think I`ll just drop my turbo in the dx engine and milk it for all I can...I`m making about 115-120 now...and I don`t think it will be a problem to 35-50 more horses from the turbo ( garrett T-3 ).
