power steering problem

ok heres what happend i was in an empty parking lot spinning around in the snow and i had the wheel cut as far as it can go then my power steering went. i thought it was a bunch of snow gather around the wheel well or sumthin that was holding it so i put it in the garage and let it warm up. all the snow is off and the power steering is still out. i checked for power steering fluid and its almost full so thats not it . anyone have a clue wuts wrong.

It's possible the power steering pump has seen better days, also make sure to check and see if the belt didn't break.
