Angry Arrghh!!

im having starting problems with my car..when i turn the key into ACC things are working fine..evrything lights up...but as soon as i turn it to the start position all i hear is a click and everything goes dim. I replaced the battery just a month ago. And also theres a buzzing noise behind the dash (sounds like thats where its coming from) when i try to start it. Ive checked the fuses and they all seem to be okay. Another thing is that i havent started the car for about 2 weeks. If anyone can give me their input on my situation that would be great.

Re: Arrghh!!

hey man, i would check ALL the fuses again very carefully, i had the same problem in my 93 prelude when i tried to install a new deck. My clock went out and there was a buzzing noise. I checked the fuse's ( not good enough, apparently) and couldnt find a problem. I went 2 weeks without a clock and dash lights, then had my buddy check it out and he found two burnt fuses. It made me look stupid but i was glad he found out what went wrong. Hopefully it will be the same case in your car.

P.S. look for the slightest sign of a burnt fuse or the littlest break in the fuse wire. Thats how i missed it the first time.

Re: Arrghh!!

The little piece of metal in the clear space on the fuse will be melted out (ie gone, disjoined)...
