Evo4 vs Integra Type R vs Supra TT

Back here in New Zealand the most populer cars for street racers would have to be the Evos and the Subbies WRX's.

I am just wondering what would be faster out of these ones.

The EVO4 would smoke the Integra Type R (say 1996 model)
but what would happen if the Integra was say Supercharged.
I'm not sure how much the Supercharging would cost (sumone tell me)

How would the say 1996 Supra 3 Litre Twin Turbo stack up against the Evo in a 1/4 mile?

And which car can be easily made quicker?
Like i think the Integra Type-R can be made hell quicker. For nor alot of money.

Can you please list the quickest of these cars in order.
And say the Integra was supercharged or if u guys have another mod that would make it quicker for low bux tell me.

Cheers

I think the twin turbo supra 3.0 liter is easyest the best way to get power. It is very powerfull stock ( high 4 second, acceleration to 60mph)
and people have them up to 1200 horse. The motor is strong.

the type R would need its engine re enforced to handle any real power. its front wheel drive layout also hurts it off the line, unless your wearing slicks, or drag radials. they are very fast on the highway where traction is not much of an issue. also when you start making monster power on that car, it becomes unbalanced as you will compromise handling cause front wheel drives can't take power very well.

i would say the supra has the highest potential. those cars will make 450whp with just bolt ons. it would require the EVO 4 to have a upgraded turbo to match that number. in stock turbo form the EVO's max power is still 100whp short.

Supra TT...sure the Evo is light and can launch like hell...but the Supra TT's got loads of untapped power and is great in str8 line

If you're trying to make a street monster, I'd go with the Evo. You can't be running around on the streets with drag slicks, and the Evo's super launching capabilities will give it a big edge in quick-and-dirty street races. Not to mention that you can throw it into tight corners at speeds that the Supra couldn't even think about.

The Integra Type R is a great car for sporty driving, but for true performance, it's severely limited by its FWD layout and its very high-strung engine, which isn't very practical for turbocharging.

Re: Re: Evo4 vs Integra Type R vs Supra TT

The Type R isn't the most practical choice for a monster, it's always been better as a track day special than a true monster.

I'd go for the Supra, they are very easily capable of being mid-high 10 second cars which are fully streetable (The Croydons Supra being a good example), while being reliable. An Evo is also able to cut 10 second passes and remain streetable, however the Evo'll blow up well before the Supra will.

Re: Evo4 vs Integra Type R vs Supra TT

I Think the Supra TT will take the Evo in the Qurater Mile except the first gear becuase EVO is
AWD .. The Slowest one is Integra and It's not comparable with them ..The Supra reachs more than 1000HP ..

Re: Evo4 vs Integra Type R vs Supra TT

A supercharged integra type R puts down 290 WHP on stock internals. Good enough for low 13s on the 1/4 mile.

So straight line acceleration would be right up there with the other boys.

Re: Evo4 vs Integra Type R vs Supra TT

evo would be the best street racer
supra would be the best at the track with slicks (RWD sucks for off the line power)
and finaly the type-R would just look and sound cool

Supra. 3.0L Twin Turbo capable of over 1000HP.
Easily the strongest of them all.

charlzneon: Good luck running that kind of power on a street car. It ain't happenin'. Plus you'd never be able to get traction unless you drive around with racing slicks on the street.

yeah i would hate to see the MPG on that thing for a street car. you better hope you dont have to go about 50 miles without a gas station nearby...

Re: Evo4 vs Integra Type R vs Supra TT

Although the Integra Type-R is a really nice car, it so is not in the league of Supra TTs and Evo's.
