Weird Clicking Noise.....Anyone....?

im not too worried but my cars engine makes this clickin noise kinda like when you puta playing card on the spoke of your bmx
Does anyone else have this problem ive noticed there are other cars that have this sound but is there any way to get rid of it...
or anyone know what it is...?

If it's just when the engine is warming up, then it's most likely a ticking lifter. It's a classic problem, because when you first start your engine, it takes a while for the oil to get all the way up to the top and lubricate the lifters. If it's ticking after you've been driving it and the engine is warmed up, then it might be some piston slap.

I think its lifters too I got noisey lifters and they can chatter and tick after a hard rip. I use lucas oil treatment and it reduces the chatter quite a bit , its 10 bucks a bottle and is added as a substitute for one liter of oil at the oil change.

Hey kid did you put a cold air intake on your 01 ga? I noticed that also increases those sounds as well.

OK!! I have a ticking noise as well on my 2001 GT but Mine is the hazard light signal switch.
I know a person who had that ticking noise and replaced that switch but it didnt solve the problem. I think your best option would be to take it to the mechanic professional and let them deal with it!
If its not this problem than i couldnt know whats wrong with it.
