99 radio and heat concerns

First, this forum has been awesome, I have used it to fix the 4?? code about my EGR positioning sensor and will soon fix the 171 174 codes, once it warms up. In the mean time I have lost the display on my radio, which is the T100 model and my front heat only works on hot, which is fine in the middle of winter but I hope warm weather will be here soon, the back air works well on hot or cold, fan and all works in the front, just always hot air. Any help on the radio and the air are appreciated.

Sounds to me like your actuator is out on the front unit's blend door. Not a big job...3 screws and an elect connector.

I would strongly suggest after you replace the actuator, you limit the travel of the temp selector slide switch. Put approx 1/4" of RTV at each end to the slide opening (to act as a limiter) and you will avoid breaking your blend door ...maybe.
