88 Cassette Deck Help Needed
Hi, New to this forum. I have a 91 626 with a cassette deck that has no display. I found a "nice" one with an equalizer from an 88 MX6 at the local "Pick N Pull" and got the woofer from under the seat. Now I need to know the connections on the back of the 88 Deck. Can anyone help with the pinouts? It's a bummer to have to use the scan each time I want to change stations just because the display is blank.

Does your 626 still have the harnesses behind the deck? If so, mazdas from 1983-1992 should use the same harness (just plug in the new radio). For wiring colors check out www.installdr.com or this should take you right where you need to go: http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Mazda-Wiring.pdf
