Re: fuel pump 91 s10

I don't know if it will work, but you'd still have to drop the tank (or better yet raise the box) and remove the old fuel pump. Then you'd have to extend the fuel pickup to where it is now.

When you consider that you may as well just put in a stock one.

Here's a little secret that I'd do to my own truck if I planed on keeping it. Cut a hole in the box above the fuel pump, then get a nice steel lid made up for it. Use sheet metal screws to hole the lid on.

yeah youd still have to drop the tank to remove old one.
do want to keep this truck? if so drop tank while its drpped cut a hole in the bed right above the tank, so if it happens again you dont have to drop it youll have a access panel for it.
go stock pump, you know that will work. youll spend less time than tring to figure out how to run the inline(mounting, wiring, running fuel lines, and hopping that it works).

Have drawn gas through the old pump, it will work. Pretty easy to remove bed and replace pump though. Six bolts, unplug taillight wire harness, screws at gas filler, remove ground strap and lift it off. Sit on frame and change out the old pump. For the inline pump you'll need about 12 psi.

You don't have to completely remove the box, just tip it. I don't know if you even have to un-plug anything
