Engine Light On
The engine light came on in my Grandparents 95 Town Car. I believe that car is equipped with OBD I technology. On my corvette, I have a key I can insert into the diagnostic connector under the dash. Is the Lincoln the same way. When the key is inserted will the engine light flash the code that set the light. If this is possible, where can I obtain the codes for Lincoln, and also where is the diagnostic connector?

1995 was the first year Lincoln used OBD-II. Many say it was 1996 but those that do don't know shit.
The OBD-II connector is directly above the gas pedal, then toward the front edge of the dash. You can reach it (just under the dash) from a sitting position in the drivers seat. Another indicator is the emissions label under the hood, and maybe even the mfg. label in the drivers door edge. The bottom of the label show which OBD system was installed.
