engine compatibility

I just blew the motor in my 94 Del Sol. My neighbor has an engine for a 90 Civic that he will give me. Is the engine compatible? Are there any problems with this that I should know about?

Re: engine compatibility

most likely, but you'll need all the mounts and adapters. it could be done in a couple weekends

Re: engine compatibility

well you have alot of problems with that
differnt obds. If you need a tranny too you gotta fuck around big time to wedge a cable in your car.

if its a lower trim civic you'll have to rewire whole car for DPI.

you can wire the older motor to your obd if wanted.

i'd advise against this whole thing what trims are the civic and your car?
