VAG-COM & Digimoto/Scantool

I have a VW Passet TDI 130 bhp auto, 2001 UK model. Can the VAG-COM software be used through the Digimoto hardware?
If not, what do I need to modify the same or do I have to get another interface? If another interface - which one is best?
Is there any mileage correction software available that works with the Digimoto hardware?
