94 Buick Park Avenue Blower Won't Shut Off
Helpppp! The blower is stuck on high speed and will not shut off, even when the ignition is shut off. What to do? Please help! This is my first posting - hope some of you regulars will welcome me and help me out... Mimi

Re: 94 Buick Park Avenue Blower Won't Shut Off
Sounds like a relay is sticking.
Your relays are found under a rain guard on the engine firewall. The relay of interest will have wiring from it to a blower resistor unit on the blower box to the blower motor. |

Thank you for a quick response Yogi! Will check this out over the weekend and hope for the best on the investigation of this potentially sticky relay... It that is indeed the problem, that is the best case scenario... Better than replacing the entire module... Thanks again! Mimi

Re: 94 Buick Park Avenue Blower Won't Shut Off
the problem is the blower control module or blower resistor as some call it. known by both names. just replaced mine on 93 pa. $126.00 including tax at Advance auto parts. It's under relays and fuses under rain cover next to firewall under hood. 3 small screws

I had the same problem with my 1991 Buick PA. I replaced both the controller with the buttons and the HVAC Programmer but the problem of the blower running continued. Turned out to be the Blower Control Module. I bought one at a junkyard for $40. (The dealer wanted $150). That was the problem. If you are looking for a replacement and you look at the module you will see an AC Delco #16061602, however, that part is no longer made. The replacement AC Delco part is #12484912.
