Unhappy 01 alero radio error

I got in my car this morning and my radio reads error? What is the problem it won't turn off or on?

For some reason, the Theftlock system has been activated. You need to reenter your theftlock code to get the radio to unlock and work normally again.

I disagree..... If it was the Theftlock it would have the letters "LOC" on the display.... An "ERROR" message usually indicates that their is another type of functioning problem with the unit itself....

i currently have this problem occasionally. I turn of the car for 30 min or so and the radio works.

any fix yet?
