wonderful day of making insurance pay for rental car.

I am going to use the nice way out and call the insurance company which is pissing me off *Assclown insurance, because I dont know how good of an idea it is to talk shit about them and have it all over the internet. Sorry to whoever came up with this idea, but I wish to give all credit to you, since I got the idea from reading your skyline thread.

Okay so I crashed my car last friday, the 14th of january. Today was friday the 21st of january. Today was the first time I was able to get anybody from Assclown insurance to talk to me. They would not return my phone calls when I left messages, they did not contact rental car companies like they said they were going to, and they have not sent an appraiser to look at my car, or to have it towed to a shop to have an estimate done. Well today I got sick of it and did not want to spend the whole weekend without a car again, so I called the default rental company and asked if they had any information about me getting a car. NO.. so I call Assclown insurance to ask why, and get it straightened out. They dont answer, so I leave a message. Hours pass, and no word. I call my lawyers office and my lawyers secretary who seems to have the most balls of anybody involved with this (besides me) gets the shit worked out. Enterprise calls me and says they have a reservation set up for me. It was the enterprise in Ohio. The lawyer representing Assclown insurance set it up in ohio, just to make things more difficult and annoying for me, because she knows damn well I am in South Carolina. I straightened that out relatively easy. Blah blah blah, I get to enterprise. They do my paperwork and point to my red neon that I will be driving. I am Six foot Eight. I am wearing a neck brace, and I have a sore lower back. I look at the man, and he says... yeah, I'll call and see if Assclown will get you a bigger car. Assclown reluctantly agrees to upgrade me to standard size. Its a Chevy Malibu. I say.. okay fine, let me see the keys, and I will go check. HA!! I have to uncomfortably squeeze through the door, just to have my knees against the dashboard, and steering wheel touching my knees. I tell the man at enterprise who is quite understanding of my situatuion, and he says... I will call Assclown back and ask what they can do. I say, NO, I will call her and IIIII will have a word with her. I call her and tell her this... "Look, I dont fit into a dodge neon, and I don't fit into a chevy malibu. My neck and back are sore, so Im not flexible enough to squeeze in and out of them in the first place, and my knees are pressed against the dashboard and steering wheel so I dont think thats safe. I am 6'8" and I dont think you understand. I will not fit into those cars, and besides, you should have had me a car a week ago. What are you going to do about it?" She says, "well thats something I am going to have to have authorized...." at which point I cut her off and said, "Thats fine, you make your phone calls. Get it authorized, and I will be here at enterprise waiting for you to call back. Thank you." Now, this is the lawyer who is representing Assclown insurance, mind you, the one who is causing most of the BS involved in this situation, and doing it on purpose just to aggrivate me, so it felt great to shut her up. Anyways, I talk to mr enterprise (Who was very kind and helpful by the way), and he says they got a call back for authorization to give me a full size sedan like an impala... I say thats fine, but then he says, "well we dont really have any of those kind of sedans at our lot," and then kind of mumbled like he was trying to figure out the best way to deal with it, and said "we do have a trailblazer out back"... I was like.. hell yeah thats fine with me, so he kinda laughed and had someone pull it around for me, and presto, Im rollin around a new trailblazer instead of a damn sardine can neon. The dude proceeded to tell me that Assclown insurance does that crap to everybody. Apparently there was a man who was the victim of a car accident, and he was the owner of a Navigator. Assclown tried to put him in a cavalier! HAHA.. I can only imagine what kind of shit he slung at Assclown insurance. Man... I tell you.. you cant sit back and let insurance fuck you up the ass. You have to be assertive, and tell them that, NO you will not do this to me, I want better service. Some people "bend over, and take it up the tailpipe" (Jim Carrey, Liar Liar), but not I. I refuse to be taken for anybody's fool. I could be squeezing in and out of a neon, and bitching and moaning about that for the next three weeks, but I stood my ground and I got a more comfortable, non death trap, Trailblazer with a cd player. And I DAMN WELL deserve it too, for the shit they have put me through, and for taking a week to even return ONE phone call out of about 6 or 7, and making me bum rides off my uncle for a week instead of getting me a car on the first day like any good insurance company would have. Many Thank Yous to Juanita, my lawyers secretary, because everytime I cant get in touch with somebody to get anything done, she gets in touch with them and gets them to call me, or she calls me back herself with all the information, very quickly. Juanita has the so called BALLS to get shit done. I like that. Fuck the insurance companies! except mine cuz they are hella cool about it, and very nice about the situation, they even offered to pay my medical bills until they can be re imbursed by assclown insurance. How many insurance companies would offer to do that for their clients? Not Assclown.... no way.

Man.. Assclown is a great filler for talking shit about a large company. I think taka, or is it naka?.. or whoever used that recently should get a medal, and we should all try to refrain from naming companies, and instead refer to them as assclown. Anyways, thats the latest in the saga of Rick vs Assclown... Im out...

Rick

Re: wonderful day of making insurance pay for rental car.

thats why you only buy reputable car insurance. I have progressive car insurance. Yes its a little more, but they are fast and helpful. I got rear ended this summer, the insurance adjuster came out that day to look at my car and give me a full estimate. I got the money and everything i needed very quickly. Sometimes it pays to pay a little more

You're 6'8"? I can see why a getting into a Neon with a sore neck would be a problem.

Re: wonderful day of making insurance pay for rental car.

I HATE and LOATHE dealing with insurance companies. They take EVERY cent they can from you, then they try to cut EVERY corner when you need even a FRACTION of the money back that you paid them. Most of them are SO hard to deal with and SO greedy. I mean, they intentionally make everything a hassle so some people will give up and Assclown can save themselves a few bucks here and there.
Now my insurance AGENT is a GREAT guy, real nice, and he's my boxing coach, but he's got like 2 brand new cars, one SUV and one Pickup and a NICE plot of land up north of town, not to mention a nice house. He's either up to eyeballs in debt or he's getting a NICE chunk of the $280+ I pay every month to be fully insured.
Now when I call assclown and say someone just threw a baseball bat through my windshield, fix it. they say the deductable is $250, $100 more than the WINDSHIELD cost. Thanks guys. That's what I pay you for.
