Question did i do the smart thing

i have always wanted a crx bla bla bla .... but i got a good deal on a prelude so i got one in stead .. but i need to no what is better for street/drag ? that means whats the pros and cons of both and what would you go with. 1. 93si lude or 2. 88-91si crx .... did i do the smart thing here by gettin the 93lude thanks......

Ive owned a 90 CRX si and a 97 prelude sh. of course the lude is better. but the CRX is a great car too.

for a drag car the best of both worlds. drop an H22 into the CRX and your set. but don't plan on it being able to turn very well. i just dont' think the CRX can be that great at both simultaneously. you have to choose. it can potentially hand a prelude its ass with the prelude's own engine in a drag race. it can outhandle a prelude with the right suspension mods. but for a more complete package, the prelude is the better choice. not the best at either, but does both at least fairly well. i'd take a prelude over a CRX anyday unless i had a prelude for a street car and was to make the CRX a pro street drag car.

Too late to ask now anyway since you bought the Prelude already, but IMO the Prelude is better for street/drag if you remove all the dead-weight things (like the stock seats, power window motors, sunroof motor, AC, etc...).
A CRX with a swapped engine would be nice - but I like the Prelude better (especially a stripped down Prelude).

I own a 90 CRX with a b16 and a 96 VTEC Lude - I like the Lude a little better.
