1994 Sunbird - Low Fuel Indicator always on

Hey all,

I just joined this great forum. To beging with I don't know much about fixing cars but I was just wondering if anyone had an idea what would be causing my 1994 Sunbird to always have the Low Fuel Indicator light to come on. This just started today while driving to work. From now on even after stoping / restarting to car it is still on. I even made sure the tank is completly full thinking it would reset it somehow. Now the actual Fuel Level gauge works fine. I was thinking of taking to into get looked at but would this be something that would cost a lot of $?

Any ideas would be great. Also, this car hardly has any kms on it. Right now only 42,000.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Devnull
