98 F-150 4.2L V6 engine problem

Engine has 218,000 miles, but was just tuned up and running great, no codes, no noises. One morning tried to start it up and engine wouldn't turn over, like it was locked up. It finally started, but knocked when I pulled it into the driveway. Now it won't turn over at all, like it is locked up again. Just put on new starter and cable. What could this be?

sounds like you may have spun a bearing in the crank journal. alot of work to fix. basically a motor rebuild.

i would have to pull the spark plugs and turn the engine over, sounds like possibly coolant entering one of the cylinders and hydrolocking
