misfire and exhaust troubles

my 96 tahoe has 130,000 miles. first my service engine soon started coming on then it would go away, truck would misfire at idle and while i was driving, at idle it would act as if it was gonna stall then i will get this white smoke out of the exhaust that smells like gas. shortly after that my fuel pump went bad. changed fuel pump, filter, plugs, wires, dc and rotor, and o2 sensors. noticed that #2 plug tip was black like it was burned, changed all this and still same problem, mechanic said #2 injector was bad, changed injector still same problem. still misfiring and exhaust still really white when this trouble occurs, sometimes truck runs great. any suggestions?

i don't believe so. had codes checked today and i am still getting number 2 cylinder misfire code. if i am going through antifreeze what is that an indication of?

Intake manifold gasket leaking. Killing #2 fire. Pull out the plug and see if its whiteish.
