Post here is you work with invalids

UGH!!!! People can be so @##$%ing lazy!!!

Most of you know I am an admin assistant at my office (law firm). Well they let that other girl go a few weeks ago (the one that called in sick every Monday) so I inherited alot of new duties. The good points are that I no longer am doing deliveries (which will save my car ALOT of wear n tear) and I don;t have to be everyone's personal gopher. I work under the managing partner and his assistant. The ugly part is I have to clean our kitchen which sucks, but I got a nice raise so I won't gripe at that. What gripes me is that someone went to my boss and complained that I am not emptying the dishwasher soon enough in the mornings. Ok so is it THAT hard to bend forward an inch or so to lift one single cup out there to have your coffee only to leave it on the sink for me to clean later?

I swear that with the messes poeple here leave, I don't think I EVER wanna see the living conditions in their homes

I can name off 101 things people are too lazy to do here but I will spare you all the boredom LOL. So what's your lazy co-worker story?

Arrow I have only 1 co-worker BUT 3 bosses!

I work for 3 insurance brokers and my co-worker and I run the firm. If you know anything about the insurance business you know how stressful and demanding it is! Well sometimes my coworker will go in one of the bosses offices and sit shoot the breeze with them for a 1/2 hour -then comes back and says "hey I gotta run to the bathroom" then when she comes back again to her desk she gets right on the phone with her husband, mother, babysitter etc..........arrrrrrrgggg it kills me everytime!!!!!! she never works-

ugh, I have come to the conclusion that the people who spend more time focusing on personal stuff/chit chat at work are lazier in general. Then they go to their desk at some point to piles n piles or work to do...then they spend even more time talking about how much work they have to do and they can't keep up and they are soooooo busy. Yet still don't take a few minutes out of their time to get something done. PULEASE!

Seems that the company deadbeat is the same the world over....We lost our informal access to the company internet connection because the inwards goods manager was always 'too busy' to release ingredients to the production team.....until the I.T. manager checked his log and found that in one week the guy had logged over 20 hours of personal internet use....most of it looking at...................

Thats why being the I.T. guy is good. I can give myself free uncontrolled net access.
