Question Knock Sensor in '02 Spec V

I've heard that if you relocate the knock sensor or if you tweek it with a resistor, it will become less sensitive and not retard the timing, which affects the acceleration of the car. I've called the dealer and they won't do it, even though the '04 Spec V already has the knock sensor relocated and that's why they put out a little bit more HP numbers. Any suggestions? Where should I take my car to have it relocated? Can I use the resistor trick myself, even though I don't know much about engines. Thanks.

How about replying, instead of just reading this thread. Look at the subject name, if you know nothing about it, then don't read it.

I think people read things they don't know anything about to gain knowledge.
