73 vw super beetle vin number

I bought a 73vw super beetle convertible in fair condition. I trying to verify the vin number. On the dash left-side next to glass, and on the door post I found this number: 1532806043. The label on the door post also has 06/73. Manufactured by wolksvagenwerk ag. Need some help folks.....thanks.

Sorry - not clear enough. Would like to know, is this an authenic 73 vw super beetle vin number.

153 designates a 1973 beetle convertibl. The 151 convertible code was on the earlier models if that had you concerned.
