that motor isnt made for power and its pretty hard to get power out of them. it comes with 92 or 94hp and 89tq. the d16a6 is a little better with 106hp and there easer to tune it also bults right up all you would need to do is rewire for the mpfi (multi port fuel injection)
your d15 is not worth the money you may have to spend to fix it. get the d16 you will be happy.

Re: d15 b2

yep basically what he said 92hp 89ft/lbs tq.

The engine doesnt have no potential, but not a whole lot. People have built them up and can scoot fairly quickly down the track. Ive seen a stock b2 turboed with 7lbs boost and numbers can be fairly impressive in the torque category. Somewhere around 150hp! Dont underestimate the power of the D.

Many other options can be done to the engine to get more power.

Re: d15 b2

d16a1 will not fit in your car without a lot of effort! Fully built d16s can run all the way up to 10 sec. quarter miles and put down very impressive numbers with not FI or n2o.

Re: d15 b2

you mean a "kit" just buy one for a 88-91 crx or civic si 1.6l d16a6, it will work pretty much the same, heck basically and 1988-2000 civic, except 99-00 si turbo kit will work fine just some mods required.
