Brake 1 on dash brake light

On a 1997 lincoln town car at the park brake light it read brake 1 and will not go out even when the park brake is release.

Check your brake fluid! Also, the float inside the brake fluid reservoir may be stuck, so if the fluid looks like it's at the proper level, tap on the reservoir to unstick the float.

You may have to remove the float assy. and operate it by hand to get it unstuck.


Don't beat the crap out of the damn thing and come back saying I helped you break it.
