multiple misfire

car was running perfect, then all of the sudden, started misfiring like hell. pulled the codes and it was showing misfire on cylinders 1 and 3. thought it might be a coil pack, but its 1 cylinder from each pack. so replaced spark plugs, nothing changed, pulled the wires and they spark to block, and i know its dumping fuel because the catalytic converter was glowing red. im lost. can anyone please help?

put sone new wires on it and recheck. If your light is flashing than you are causing catalyst damage.
