1988 Cadillac Deville
My Caddy starts up and idles fine. However, proceeding a short distance down the rode, even at low speeds, the car starts to buck violently, pops through the throttle body, stalls, and dies. The only code that reads is the E37--Shorted MAT sensor circuit (AIR) which I have replaced. The problem persists. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Re: 1988 Cadillac Deville
check for vacuum leaks. i use a can of eather and spray around like the intake gaskets, throttle body to manifold gasket, vacuum lines, and so on.
another possibility, could be the coil. my gmc had a problem with it spittin and sputtering, and it turned out to be the coil. |
