GTi Engine

Hey people:
Just wondering how much would it be a 1.3 GT engine, ECU, harness?

I am thinking about swap my metro engine (1.3 96 sedan). BTW, would it be (the swap) easier on this car? Are the engines some way alike? Or I should do all the perforations just same the old 89-94 3 cyl models?

One more question.. what else would I need to complete the swap?

Thanks everybody.

MC

TECHNICALLY, you're good with a engine, mounts, ECU, and fuel pump. But that engine will blow your axles apart . Also, it will cause pre-mature wear on the wheel bearings in the front(GT ones are MUCH larger and stronger). Also, the GT brakes are a lot bigger. But for you, I would highly recemmond...

engine
FULL GT wiring harness
front knuckles and brakes
axles and center-shaft
mounts
fuel pump

and you should be all good!

Thanks a lot for your answer pal. I totally trust in your words.
