i have a dream

My dream is to have diamond clear headlights for the 4g's but it aint gonna happen, imo the aftermarket projectors are cheap and kinda ugly! BUT what if it be possible to take off the lense off your OEM headlamps and maybe tried to fit a lense off projectors? Hey thats the closes we will get to diamond clear headlamps. Has any1 ever attempted this mod? I dont have my factory lamps nemore, but i will be getting a pair in due time and i have a extra pair of projectors and will give it a whirl. Welp its a idea! Tell me what u think?

Yup I feel you on that one, I was thinking the exact same thing but I wanted to paint the inside parts black so it would look like the jdm accord headlights SICK!

That would look tight. I was thinking about doing the inside of mine black as well because im doing me exterior black. I wonder if the headlight would still be able to shine past the black fine.

Re: i have a dream

I panted those plastics inside the lights in metal black (orig is silver - chrome) and I left some place still silver but those lights don't shine like before...that light beam is half shorter then before...so I'm thinking to try paint them in a black chrome so it'll still have that reflection like silver chrome but the lights will look black

Re: i have a dream

Sounds good, but there's a problem. The glass portion on ours has little squares and what-not so that when the light shines through, they're supposed to stretch the beam in a wider view and also keep the beam not shining in peoples eyes. Just putting on the clear lense of the projector part (which still in it's right is a wonderful mod idea) would not be as effective as the stock glass lense cause you'll have this huge beam of light coming out inside of a concentrated beam like oem.

It's just my 2 cents
