Passat 2003 ABS/ESP/battery problems

passat 2003,GLX started having problems with cd panel and airconditioner panel lights going off/on with all sorts of lights blinking, most commonly ABS/ESP light with air bag light on, after stopping the car..have difficulty starting it back again, however after 1-2 hours it starts again ..for some time.. dealer states battery discharged therefore it didnt start!..help!!

Its a 2003... its warranty...
